CASA BARBADOS

This is a maisonette, two minutes walk from the beach and centre of the village. It is furnished in a traditional rustic style. It has a with a capacity of six guests with a possibility of 3 more. It has a large leafy patio in the entrance which has a table and six chairs and there is a bbq for the terrace.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe and a chair/fold out bed which can be used for a child or extra guest. This bedroom also has large balcony. On this floor there is a twin bedroom with a wardrobe. The beds are brand new. There is also a bathroom with bath shower, bidet and washbasin.

Downstairs there is a large open living room/dining room area with 2 single built in sofas which can be used as single use beds as well as a double sofa bed for extra guests. There is a television and video/DVD with a selection of films for grown-ups and children and a large wooden dining table and 6 chairs.

On this floor there is a bathroom with a shower which is very useful on returning from the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, electric blender, electric coffee pot as well as a traditional Italian coffee pot.

There is a travel cot, a high chair and baby bath available for those with babies or small children. This house is fully equipped with everything for up to six people or more depending on amount of guests. Bath towels, beach towels, sheets and hair dryer are all at your disposal. It has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are also various items for the beach that we leave at the house for people to use such as buckets and spades, rackets and balls, spades, umbrellas and books!

The houses is in a residential area and is very quiet. It is only 2 minutes walking distance from the Agua Amarga beach.The entrance is located on a no-through road and most of the time there is easy parking nearby or in front.

There is a local bar, La Hoya, a block away which serves good coffee, breakfast and tapas. The man who runs it, Gregorio, was a fisherman and always has very fresh fish and his wife, Paquita, makes a super paella. They also do paella to take away. It is not however a late night rowdy bar. In fact there are no late night bars or pubs in Agua Amarga.

Casa Barbados has extra sofabeds for 3 more guests – 9 in total. For the extra guest a supplement must be paid – 25 euros per person per night.
